Pig Scramble
• Contestants must be 5-14 years of age.
• Registrations will be at the online Box Office until full. Registration fee is $20 and must be paid at time of entry. Fee is non-refundable. Recommend not to use Debit cards.
• At least one parent or guardian must be present during the scramble.
• Closed toed shoes are required.
• Officials will be inside the arena at all times to help the contestants. Contestants will be instructed on proper catching technique at time of event.
• All contestants must be present for check-in and to be divided into age divisions 15 minutes prior to the start of the event. Late arrivals may not be permitted to compete.
• Cash prizes will be awarded to those who catch a pig and will have first chance at purchasing a pig using those cash prizes.
• To be deemed as having “caught a pig,” the contestant must place the rope given to them around the leg of the pig and remain holding on until one of the officials arrives. If a participant has hold of a pig, no other participant will be allowed to touch the pig until it breaks away. If two of more participants catch the same pig, the pig will be turned loose.
• Unnecessary roughness will not be tolerated; participants will be disqualified and the pig will be set free.
• All judges’ decisions are final.
